Student Training Program

Aviva’s Mental Health Services (MHS) department provides outpatient clinical and case management services to children and families within Los Angeles. Work within a multidisciplinary treatment team and collaborate with other programs and services at Aviva, including:

THE PROGRAM
Our Student Training Program provides students with the following opportunities:

  • Work within a multidisciplinary treatment team and collaborate with other programs and services at Aviva, including:
      • Target Case Management (TCM)
      • Psychiatric Support Services
      • Wraparound
      • Full Service Partnership (FSP)
      • Outpatient Care Services (OCS)
      • Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
    • Foster Family and Adoption (FFA)
  • Weekly individual supervision and group supervision.
  • Opportunity to learn and implement DMH (Department of Mental Health) documentation.
  • May have the opportunity to be trained in EBP Model Seeking Safety.
  • Receive training in Aviva’s electronic health record system (EXYM).
  • Opportunity to conduct initial and annual clinical assessments of clients, individual therapy, family counseling, and group therapy.
