We are thrilled to announce that Kelsey Applebee, FFA Social Worker/Adoption Coordinator has been selected as the Employee of the Month of February! Kelsey truly deserves this recognition for her outstanding commitment and dedication to Aviva Family and Children’s Services.
Kelsey excels in her role as she manages all adoption coordination and carries a full caseload with grace and efficiency. Her positive attitude and patience with foster families are truly commendable. Kelsey’s friendly and professional demeanor and her ability to work well with DCFS and her colleagues makes her an invaluable team player.
One of Kelsey’s greatest strengths is her willingness to go the extra mile for the children on her caseload. As a foster/adoptive parent herself, she understands the challenges and uncertainties that foster parents face during their adoption journey. Her personal experience allows her to provide invaluable support and guidance to foster parents in need.
Additionally, Kelsey serves as our LGBT staff and parent advocate, advocating for inclusivity and equality within our organization. She embodies and lives Aviva’s mission every day through her actions and dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
